What is Passion Flower?
Passion Flower or passiflora is a genus of over 550 species of flowering vines found around the world. It grows easily in tropical climates with it's vines reaching to the sun, grasping onto anything it can. It is most commonly grown for the fruit called lilikoi which come in a variety of flavors sour to sweet. On Kaua'i, the most commonly seen ones are yellow and purple hard shelled sour ones and a few places on the island have the sweet egg shaped type called Jamaican lilikoi.

Passiflora is an anxioltic (anti-anxiety), antispasmodic (muscle relaxant) and aphrodisiac... most well known for increasing sexual drive. Why does Anahata Health have a superior product to some others?
Here on our organic farm located in the farming community of Moloa'a on the north shore of Kaua'i, we take great care that our land is pristine and free of sprays and GMO's. As mentioned above, there are a few types of passion flowers/fruit here on Kaua'i. We farm all three types of flowers in which we harvest all of them when in season. We are proud that all of our tinctures are cured for a year minimum before they are strained.
